# Hero Stats

Each hero in KK Heroes has 7 stats: \

**Speed** - Faster heroes attack more frequently.\
**Attack** - Base attack value.\
**Health** - Base hit points.\
**Defence** - Damage reduction.\
**Critical** - Chance to deal double damage.\
**Hit** - Chance to prevent enemy dodge.\
**Dodge** - Chance to avoid an opponent's attack.\
\
Each stat costs only 1 [ability-points](https://kepithorstudios.gitbook.io/kingdom-karnage-heroes/getting-started/ability-points "mention")to improve at the start of each season, but as each stat is improved, the cost of the next improvement rises.\
\
Hero stats and the cost of stat increases resets at the end of each season.
